I live in Weston and have a Black Lab and a Siamese cat. (Dog =11 yrs and cat is 8 yrs). They’ve been seen at the Presque Isle Animal Hospital in Houlton for the last 4 yrs, since we moved to Maine. Last week I had to cancel an appointment due to deteriorating health and I called to reschedule. Two days later I received a letter informing me that I cannot continue to not show for appointments! Even though I did let them know and had rescheduled. I called to say that I did not appreciate being treated like a naughty child. I am a recent widow and struggling to do everything myself now and balance that with depression. This is causing such stress and meanwhile my animals are late getting their vaccines. Can you help me? Today I received all the paperwork from them on each of my animals and a letter telling me that I will not longer be able to take my animals to their facility. This is stress that I cannot handle right now. I really need your help. Thank you.
